Do you provide a design service?

Yes, we offer a 2D Design service (using Adobe Illustrator), so you can see how your helmet will look before painting.

Side view is £75, or £150 for top, side & back.

Can you provide a helmet?

Yes, we sell both Arai and Shoei helmets in our online store, The Lid Loft.

For all helmets in our store we provide a discount of 10% off the retail price if you purchase and proceed to a custom paint design with us.

What can you paint?

Anything that can be painted, from traditional helmets and motorcycles, through to bicycles and guitars. Please note we don’t paint lorries or provide automotive refinish.

What’s your turnaround time?

This varies depending on the time of year, and complexity of the project. We typically require 6-8 weeks to book in your project.

Do you post the completed work?

We can arrange for your project to be posted (size dependent), with postage costs paid by the client. Or you can arrange physical collection from our workshop.

What is the cost of paintwork?

The average cost of helmet paintwork is from £400, and motorcycles are from £700. For a specific price please contact us with your project details.
